Ok folks, here they are:
Two million illegal immigrants "have been removed or have self-deported" from the United States since Jan. 20, putting the Trump administration on pace to break records, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced.
In less than 250 days, an estimated 1.6 million illegal immigrants have voluntarily self-deported, while 400,000 were removed by federal law enforcement, the DHS said this week, describing the situation as a "new milestone."
Ok, 2 million people have been removed.
These are all (or mostly; nothing is ever "all") productive working people just trying to make an honest living, right? That's the line run by people who are against deporting those here illegally.
Really? Is that true?
Let's ignore January because Trump didn't take office until the 20th, and nothing really happened until February.
February 2025, Employed: 162.544 million
August 2025, Employed: 163.288 million
Hmmm.... 744,000 more people working in August of this year than in February.
Now let's look at 2024, when Biden was in office and before this operation began, same months.
February 2024, Employed: 160.315 million
August 2024, Employed: 161.348 million
Hmmm.... 1,033,000 more people working in August than in February in.... 2024.
So..... 289,000 more people went to work from February to August of 2024 when illegal aliens were flooding the country than in the last seven months.
In other words of the 2 million illegal immigrants that have been expelled by one means or another it is a reasonable argument that a mere 14.5% of them, or about one in seven, were working in a form and fashion that was recorded in the household survey, which is a clean survey of people, not of employers who are paying everyone above the table on W2s. I've been following said survey since the 1990s privately and reporting on it monthly since 2007.
The rest of those who have been removed or self-deported were being showered with the proceeds of armed robbery committed by local, state and federal governments against everyone else here in the United States, including you and I, or they were living on outright criminal activity that is not counted as employment at all.
Oh, and beyond that 14.5% they were not paying any employment or income taxes either so spare me that tripe as well.
This is not my data so don't bothering arguing with me.

PS: A further check on this, and a decent correlating verification, will come in January when the population rebase (non-institutional working-age population) adjustment is made. This is done every January and this year's was very large (+3.08 million) -- and confirmed that in fact the illegals the Biden Administration let in were being counted in the household survey.

Another illegal alien who was given a commercial driver's license in California, a violation of federal laws and regulations, caused a major car crash.
"Dalilah Coleman’s life was forever changed when an illegal alien driving an 18-wheeler slammed into her and her family. The crash resulted in her inability to walk, talk, eat orally, or attend kindergarten as planned. She was in a coma for three weeks and required six months of hospital treatment before her family could bring her home. On June 20, 2024, Partap Singh—an illegal alien from India—caused a multi-car pileup while driving a commercial 18-wheeler in the Sanctuary State of California. Governor Newsom’s Department of Motor Vehicle’s issued him a commercial driver’s license. On August 29, 2025, ICE arrested Singh in Fresno, CA pursuant to a warrant for his arrest. Singh will remain in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings," the Department of Homeland Security details.
Dalilah's father, Marcus Coleman, is speaking out about the crash. Coleman says there was construction on the road with multiple signs warning of a lane closure. Singh ignored the signs, likely not understanding them in English, and change Dalilah's life forever.
Singh crossed into the United States illegally in 2022 and released by the Biden administration. The state of California issued Singh a commercial license and Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom is nowhere to be found.

Punk musician Miles Finney is forgoing a descent into heroin addiction and skipping right ahead to being a sanctimonious, advice-giving vegan yogi, sources close to the musician report.
“I just figured that poppy seeds belong in my soy yogurt and not in my veins,” said Finney, his nose in the air. “Yoga, along with a vegan diet, has really helped me stay clean and off drugs. Not that I was ever on drugs, but it’s given me a perspective that needs to be shared. It’s like I’ve always said, ‘I know why the caged bird sings.’ You might remember that from a song I wrote last year called ‘Caged Birds.’”
Family members are concerned by the condescending turn Finney has taken.
“I’m relieved Miles never got into hard drugs. 'Evidence is overwhelming that companies like Meta, Apple, Microsoft, Google and others, despite consistently lobbying for more foreign-worker visas on the basis of a so-called talent shortage, are fully capable of finding qualified Americans'
In a time when Americans face mounting student debt, stagnant wages and increasing job competition, a little-known government program continues to certify hundreds of thousands of permanent jobs for foreign workers, even when qualified U.S. citizens are available, willing and able.
The labor certification process known as "PERM" (Program Electronic Review Management) allows employers to sponsor foreign nationals for green cards only if no qualified U.S. worker is available. According to federal law, employers must first complete a good-faith test of the U.S. labor market, which includes specific recruitment steps such as two Sunday newspaper ads, internal postings and three additional recruitment methods from a Department of Labor-approved list.
But in practice, employers can exploit the outdated list of approved recruitment methods by avoiding major online platforms and even their own company career sites. Instead, they often use limited-access alternatives such as obscure job boards, local or ethnic newspapers, or short-duration radio ads that technically satisfy the rules on paper, but drastically reduce the chances that qualified U.S. workers will ever see or apply for the position.
In 2024, the Department of Labor processed 116,427 PERM applications to hire foreign workers, approving nearly 88% of them. Only 5.4% (6,364) were denied. This means tens of thousands of U.S. jobs were certified for foreign workers without a transparent or fair recruitment process. The Department of Labor publishes quarterly data on employer applications to sponsor foreign workers, including both H-1B and PERM filings, which offers insight into the hiring and immigration practices of U.S. employers and their immigration attorneys.
An analysis of PERM filings from 2020 to 2024 reveals how major U.S. technology companies use the green card sponsorship process to secure foreign labor for high-paying roles, often without conducting genuine or competitive hiring searches. The data show consistent reliance on minimal recruitment efforts, including outdated tactics like requiring U.S. applicants to submit paper resumes by mail.
These methods, previously flagged by the Department of Justice as barriers to American workers, were often used even by large tech companies like Amazon, Apple, Google and Workday.
For example, PERM-required job ads published in the May 9, 2021, print edition of the Mercury News instructed jobseekers to apply via postal mail, despite the fact that these companies already had digital hiring systems in place.

The evidence suggests it is not that they can't find qualified Americans, it's that they are deliberately avoiding them.

Without enforcement or accountability, these visa channels allow companies to bypass the domestic workforce entirely, undermining both the integrity of the labor market and the future of American employment.

Punk musician Miles Finney is forgoing a descent into heroin addiction and skipping right ahead to being a sanctimonious, advice-giving vegan yogi, sources close to the musician report.
“I just figured that poppy seeds belong in my soy yogurt and not in my veins,” said Finney, his nose in the air. “Yoga, along with a vegan diet, has really helped me stay clean and off drugs. Not that I was ever on drugs, but it’s given me a perspective that needs to be shared. In a time when Americans face mounting student debt, stagnant wages and increasing job competition, a little-known government program continues to certify hundreds of thousands of permanent jobs for foreign workers, even when qualified U.S. citizens are available, willing and able.
The labor certification process known as "PERM" (Program Electronic Review Management) allows employers to sponsor foreign nationals for green cards only if no qualified U.S. worker is available. According to federal law, employers must first complete a good-faith test of the U.S. labor market, which includes specific recruitment steps such as two Sunday newspaper ads, internal postings and three additional recruitment methods from a Department of Labor-approved list.
But in practice, employers can exploit the outdated list of approved recruitment methods by avoiding major online platforms and even their own company career sites. Instead, they often use limited-access alternatives such as obscure job boards, local or ethnic newspapers, or short-duration radio ads that technically satisfy the rules on paper, but drastically reduce the chances that qualified U.S. workers will ever see or apply for the position.
In 2024, the Department of Labor processed 116,427 PERM applications to hire foreign workers, approving nearly 88% of them. Only 5.4% (6,364) were denied. This means tens of thousands of U.S. jobs were certified for foreign workers without a transparent or fair recruitment process. The Department of Labor publishes quarterly data on employer applications to sponsor foreign workers, including both H-1B and PERM filings, which offers insight into the hiring and immigration practices of U.S. employers and their immigration attorneys.
An analysis of PERM filings from 2020 to 2024 reveals how major U.S. technology companies use the green card sponsorship process to secure foreign labor for high-paying roles, often without conducting genuine or competitive hiring searches. The data show consistent reliance on minimal recruitment efforts, including outdated tactics like requiring U.S. applicants to submit paper resumes by mail.
These methods, previously flagged by the Department of Justice as barriers to American workers, were often used even by large tech companies like Amazon, Apple, Google and Workday.
For example, PERM-required job ads published in the May 9, 2021, print edition of the Mercury News instructed jobseekers to apply via postal mail, despite the fact that these companies already had digital hiring systems in place.
